Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai kindred swarm and value deck commanded by Maralen, Fae Ascendant. The strategy focuses on curving out with efficient Elf and Faerie creatures to establish an early board presence while ramping into Maralen on Turn 4. Once deployed, Maralen turns every subsequent kindred entry into targeted library exile, allowing you to free-cast exiled spells with mana values scaled to your Elf and Faerie count. Token engines like Lys Alana Huntmaster, Elfsworn Giant, and Mischievous Mystic rapidly multiply your creature count, increasing the free-cast ceiling each turn. To close out games, the deck pivots to decisive combat pressure on Turn 6, utilizing mass pump effects like Overrun, tall beaters like Moon-Vigil Adherents, or creature suppression with Sleep to eliminate opponents across two combat rotations. The interaction and protection suites feature versatile instant removal, stack disruption, and mass regeneration to defend the swarm.
