Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Simic Voltron and value engine commanded by Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief. The strategy revolves around casting targeted Auras and Mutate creature spells onto inexpensive, resilient non-Human hosts such as Slippery Bogle and Silhana Ledgewalker. Whenever a single-target spell targets one of these creatures, Ivy automatically copies it onto herself, effectively doubling every buff, mutate trigger, and card-draw enchantment at no additional mana cost. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with efficient green ramp, establishes a duplicated draw engine by Turn 3 with cards like Curiosity and Sea-Dasher Octopus, and scales rapidly into game-ending combat threats by Turn 5 using Auspicious Starrix, Colossification, and Corrupted Conscience. A secondary win condition exists via Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage to summon a 20/20 Marit Lage. While the deck generates overwhelming card advantage, its linear reliance on combat damage leaves it vulnerable to mass board wipes.
