Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu reanimator midrange deck led by Terra, Herald of Hope. It focuses on milling creature cards into the graveyard and returning low-power utility creatures directly to the battlefield when Terra deals combat damage. Early turns use two-mana artifacts to deploy Terra on Turn 3 and initiate combat reanimation on Turn 4. The midgame scales through damage triggers and stat buffs from cards like Flayer of the Hatebound, Molten Gatekeeper, Celes, Rune Knight, and Gau, Feral Youth. High-impact recursion engines such as Sun Titan and Karmic Guide provide resilience and late-game reach. The interaction package features flexible spot removal and potent sweepers like Toxic Deluge and Ruinous Ultimatum. The deck wins by grinding down life totals through unblockable flying attacks, burn triggers, and wide combat swings.
