Deck overview

This deck is a 5-Color Storm and Spellslinger list commanded by Codie, Vociferous Codex. The game plan revolves around casting Codie on Turn 3, untapping on Turn 4 to filter 4 generic mana into all five colors, and triggering Codie's pseudo-cascade ability on subsequent instant and sorcery spells. On Turn 5, the deck detonates a critical storm turn by linking mana rituals like Dark Ritual, Seething Song, and Jeska's Will into multiplier engines such as Bonus Round, Past in Flames, and Mind's Desire. The storm chain culminates in a same-turn table finish via Tendrils of Agony, Grapeshot, Brain Freeze, or an infinite mana and storm loop with Storm-Kiln Artist and Haze of Rage. If Codie is disrupted, the deck pivots smoothly into manual storm lines without permanent restrictions.
