Hobbits by Lanuser

Format: Commander

Commander: The Notary Hobbits

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Notary Hobbits is a token-multiplying mana engine rather than a voltron commander. It enters and immediately makes two nonlegendary Halflings; with Delighted Halfling or Chomping Changeling, each Hobbit taps for four to five colorless mana, funding giant Eldrazi or a one-shot Finale of Devastation. The deck has two overlapping paths: explosive colorless ramp into Eldrazi cast triggers, and an infinite-mana package (Umbral Mantle + Staff) that draws into Finale. It is one-dimensional but redundant, with creature tutors and elf ramp as backup. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around maximizing Hobbit count and resolving Finale plus haste.
