Deck overview

This deck is a Simic ramp and token-stompy strategy built around Koma, World-Eater. It uses a dense suite of 1-drop and 2-drop mana accelerators to cast its 7-mana commander on Turn 4. Once Koma connects in combat on Turn 5, it creates four 3/3 Serpent creature tokens, triggering massive card draw through enchantments like Elemental Bond and Garruk's Uprising. The deck translates this board presence into lethal combat damage on Turns 6 and 7 using overrun effects such as Overwhelming Stampede and End-Raze Forerunners. Built-in protection on Koma—namely uncounterability and Ward {4}—severely restricts early spot removal, while efficient counterspells and hexproof spells defend against untargeted board wipes. Backup threats like Koma, Cosmos Serpent ensure that the deck maintains aggressive momentum even if the primary commander is removed.
