Deck overview

This Sultai deck is an aggressive tribal midrange strategy designed to leverage Uugguu, the Omniplasm's death-duplication ability. By turning the destruction of nontoken Oozes into pairs of 2/2 token copies, the deck disincentivizes spot removal and converts combat trades into exponential board growth. Supported by a robust 0-2 CMC ramp foundation, the deck deploys self-replicating threats like Biowaste Blob, Uchuulon, and Biogenic Ooze, scaling their power through +1/+1 counters and global buffs. Card velocity engines such as Garruk's Uprising, The Great Henge, and Greater Good ensure a continuous stream of threats. The deck builds toward a critical board presence by Turn 6 and finishes the table across two trample-heavy combat phases by Turn 8. While resilient against traditional destroy effects, the deck remains vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and fast spell-based combos due to a low density of instant-speed stack interaction.
