Deck overview

This deck executes a focused Gruul combat strategy led by Kibo, Uktabi Prince. The game plan revolves around giving opponents Banana artifact tokens and then punishing them when those artifacts hit the graveyard. By casting low-cost mass artifact destruction spells like Meltdown, Brotherhood's End, and Vandalblast, the deck triggers Kibo repeatedly to distribute mass +1/+1 counters across an army of Apes and Monkeys. Trample enablers such as Duskshell Crawler, Garruk's Uprising, and Kodama of the West Tree translate this sudden power explosion into decisive combat damage. Card draw engines like Viridian Revel capitalize on opposing artifact sacrifices to keep the hand full of interaction and protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Inspiring Call. While the deck excels at dismantling artifact-heavy strategies and growing massive creatures, it relies on combat steps to eliminate opponents one by one.
