Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon stompy build centered around high-mana ramp, large flying threats, and board control. The primary plan accelerates through 40 lands and 14 ramp effects to establish an operational Dragon presence by Turn 5. On Turn 6, the deck casts its 8-mana commander, Ureni, the Song Unending, dealing land-scaled damage to wipe opposing creatures and planeswalkers while presenting a massive 10/10 flyer. Built-in protection from white and black insulates Ureni against format staples like Swords to Plowshares and Deadly Rollick. The deck applies steady pressure through heavy flyers, token generation from Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and stat buffs from Crucible of Fire, closing out games on Turn 9. While the deck possesses strong resilience against spot removal and independent backup lines in the 99, its reliance on combat damage and high-cost spells leaves it vulnerable to countermagic and fast combo strategies.
