Deck overview

This is a general-power Orzhov life-gain deck built around repeated life triggers and payoffs that convert those triggers into damage. Sorin of House Markov provides accessible commander value, can transform after a turn with at least three life gained, and can turn that turn's life gain into targeted damage. The wider deck uses Soul Warden, Ajani's Welcome, Daxos, Blessed by the Sun, and similar cards to create life, then converts it through Cliffhaven Vampire, Marauding Blight-Priest, Epicure of Blood, or Sanguine Bond. Authority of the Consuls, Blind Obedience, and Kambal, Consul of Allocation provide useful but limited disruption. The main limitation is access: there are no tutors, no compact infinite combo, and little protection. The deck can create a strong board and substantial life cushion, but its ordinary route to eliminating all three opponents is slow and exposed.
