Deck overview

This deck is a classic Grixis wheel-and-punisher strategy helmed by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The primary game plan is to force opponents to draw extra cards through wheels and symmetrical draw effects, then punish each draw with damage from Nekusar, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Orcish Bowmasters, and a host of other pingers. The deck also leverages Teferi's Puzzle Box and The Locust God to generate overwhelming value, while Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Peer into the Abyss serve as alternate win conditions. The strategy is linear but effective: accelerate into Nekusar, protect him with a suite of counterspells and removal, then chain wheels to burn the table out over several turns.
