Kaalia by Rosaroterpanther

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kaalia of the Vast is the deck's mana cheat. You attack with Kaalia to put a large Angel, Demon or Dragon from hand onto the battlefield tapped and attacking for free. The main plan is sequential combat damage with high-power flyers. A secondary lifegain Angel package (Bishop of Wings, Resplendent Angel, Righteous Valkyrie, Archangel of Thune) builds a wide board and can close with True Conviction or Sanguine Bond drain. Brisela meld (Gisela + Bruna) and Terror of the Peaks ETB damage offer alternate pressure. Kaalia is the primary engine; the Angel lifegain core led by Archangel of Thune acts as a hidden commander when Kaalia is unavailable.
