Deck overview

This deck is a high-octane Boros aggro strategy built around Winota, Joiner of Forces. Its goal is to flood the board with cheap, evasive non-Human creatures in the early turns, cast Winota on curve, and immediately transition into combat. Each attacking non-Human triggers Winota to dig six cards deep, putting massive Human powerhouses directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and temporarily indestructible. The Human payload focuses heavily on combat anthems, damage doublers, and token multipliers, including Blade Historian, Angrath's Marauders, Goldnight Commander, and Adeline, Resplendent Cathar. By circumventing mana costs and deploying threats mid-combat, the deck rapidly creates exponential power swings that threaten to eliminate the table within one to two attack steps. To protect this proactive engine, the list includes a robust suite of protective permanents and instants like Boros Charm, Guardian of Faith, and Selfless Spirit, ensuring its explosive boards survive opposing interaction.
