Commander: Fynn, the Fangbearer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-green poison deck uses Fynn, the Fangbearer to turn cheap deathtouch attackers into a fast, repeatable poison clock. The primary plan is to curve a one-drop deathtouch creature into Fynn, attack with every deathtouch body, and reach ten poison counters by turn five or six. Toxic and infect creatures such as Paladin of Predation and Tyrranax Rex provide one-hit acceleration, while proliferate effects such as Evolution Sage, Karn's Bastion, and Innkeeper's Talent amplify the clock. Fynn is a force multiplier: he never needs to attack himself, and the deck still has a slower toxic/infect fallback if he is removed. There is no hidden commander; Phyrexian Swarmlord is a backup engine rather than a second strategy.
