Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy combat engine built around Xyris, the Writhing Storm. The game plan accelerates mana on Turns 1 through 3 using traditional green ramp spells like Cultivate and Growth Spiral, landing Xyris on Turn 4 or 5. Once Xyris attacks, instant-speed pump spells such as Become Immense, Invigorate, and Temur Battle Rage spike its power. This triggers Xyris's combat ability, drawing a massive burst of cards for both players and immediately spawning an equivalent swarm of 1/1 Snake tokens. A dense suite of 1-CMC protection spells defends Xyris against targeted interaction. Over the following two turns, the token army and pump spells overwhelm the table with lethal combat damage.
