Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Equipment and Dwarf tribal midrange build commanded by Koll, the Forgemaster. It leverages Koll's ability to protect equipped creatures by bouncing them to hand when they die, ensuring attrition resistance against conventional removal. The early turns focus on establishing cheap Dwarf beaters, casting Koll, and fetching utility Equipment like Skullclamp, Shuko, or Grafted Wargear. By the midgame, anthems and combat force multipliers like Dáin Ironfoot, Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, and An Unexpected Party scale up the creature board into lethal combat threats. While the list contains pieces for an infinite sacrifice loop with Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh and Goblin Bombardment, the absence of creature and enchantment tutors makes combat damage the primary reliable path to victory. Defensive spells like Flawless Maneuver, Deflecting Swat, and Grand Abolisher keep your key turns safe.
