Deck overview

This Orzhov deck uses an aristocrats game plan led by Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim. The primary strategy develops recurring fodder creatures and sacrifice engines to fuel steady life gain, repeatable card advantage, and target removal. Instead of relying on infinite loops, the deck wins through incremental life drain using Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Marauding Blight-Priest, Syr Konrad, the Grim, and Wispdrinker Vampire. Large bursts of life loss from Exsanguinate and Stensian Sanguinist finish off damaged opponents. Ayli serves as an early defensive blocker, a cheap sacrifice outlet for life gain, and a repeatable exile engine once your life total surpasses fifty.
