Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Dragon Tribal battlecruiser strategy built around The Ur-Dragon. From the command zone, the commander's Eminence ability reduces the mana cost of all Dragon spells by one, enabling the deck to curve out earlier than usual with large flying threats. The early turns focus on establishing mana through artifacts like Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, and Orb of Dragonkind, smoothing out a mana base that features several enters-tapped dual lands. In the mid-game, the deck establishes powerful engine pieces such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Hellkite Courser, or Selvala, Heart of the Wilds before transitioning directly into lethal combat threats like Atarka, World Render, Utvara Hellkite, and Old Gnawbone. While the deck exhibits immense aerial pressure and exponential damage scaling, its reliance on the combat step and lack of stack-based protection leaves it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and fast combo decks.
