Deck overview

This deck is a midrange Esper artifacts-and-equipment strategy helmed by Noctis, Prince of Lucis, who enables artifact recursion from the graveyard at a life cost. The primary game plan is to deploy a suite of equipment, suit up attackers (often the commander or other value creatures), and generate card advantage through combat triggers like Buster Sword and Rogue's Gloves, while maintaining a robust recursion loop via Emet-Selch of the Third Seat and Squall, SeeD Mercenary. The deck lacks a compact infinite combo and instead relies on incremental combat damage, extra combat from Genji Glove, and the occasional Space-Time Anomaly mill to close out games. It is a grindy, value-oriented build that aims to outlast opponents through recursive advantage and a dense protection suite.
