Deck overview

Ghave is the engine, and the deck is built to use him as a counter-to-Saproling and sacrifice-to-counter converter. The primary plan is to assemble Ashnod's Altar with either Young Wolf or a token-triggering counter engine such as Cathars' Crusade, Ivy Lane Denizen, or Mazirek, then drain opponents with Blood Artist effects. The secondary path is a wide Saproling beatdown with Tendershoot Dryad, Mycoloth, Grismold, and Champion of Lambholt. Every infinite line uses Ghave, so there is no true hidden commander; Grismold and Slimefoot are support payoffs. Removal and recursion keep the deck alive if the first combo pieces are disrupted.
