Grixis - Sauron by Davenex

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Grixis midrange-control list helmed by Sauron, the Dark Lord. Opponents' spells grow an Orc Army, that Army connecting retriggers the Ring, and each temptation can discard your hand to draw four. The 99 feeds both halves of the loop: amass pieces like Dreadhorde Invasion, March from the Black Gate, and Saruman, the White Hand inflate a single Army, while nine Nazgul, Call of the Ring, and Lord of the Nazgul turn Ring triggers into a Wraith swarm. A real counterspell suite plus reanimation (Living Death, Sheoldred, Whispering One, Breach the Multiverse) supports a controlling game until combat is lethal. There are no infinite combos. Wonder and Anger in the graveyard grant flying and haste, and Orcish Siegemaster gives the Army trample. Sauron is the draw engine and passive amass trigger; the combat plan still executes if he is removed.
