Deck overview

This is a Dimir Zombie reanimator deck helmed by The Scarab God. The plan is to stock graveyards, flood the board with Zombie tokens and lords, then close through go-wide combat or table-wide drain. The Scarab God is a superb value piece-its upkeep drain and scry scale with your Zombie count, and its activated ability turns any graveyard into 4/4 Zombie copies-but the 99 is a complete tribal/reanimator strategy on its own. When the God dies it returns to hand, so commander tax almost never accrues. Primary wins are Zombie beatdown (lords, amass, Army of the Damned), aristocrats drain (Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Syr Konrad, the Grim, Zulaport Cutthroat, Diregraf Captain, Vengeful Dead, Vela the Night-Clad), and mass-reanimation turns off Living Death, Patriarch's Bidding, and Zombie Apocalypse. Rooftop Storm is the explosive "cast your graveyard/hand for free" accelerator. The deck plays a grindy midrange game that takes over once the bin is full.
