Deck overview

This is a Grixis spellslinger deck built to exploit Fire Lord Azula's combat-phase copy ability: while she is attacking, every spell you cast is copied, and firebending 2 banks {R}{R} for that same combat step. The 99 is a single continuous machine of rituals, copy effects, magecraft payoffs, and flash enablers designed to make one attack phase lethal. The signature line is to attack with Azula, multiply rituals with Reverberate, Narset's Reversal, and Twinning Staff while Azula doubles them, then land a copied Crackle with Power or Electrodominance before the combat step ends - Borne Upon a Wind, Leyline of Anticipation, Emergence Zone, and High Fae Trickster make the sorcery-speed kill legal mid-combat. Pingers like Guttersnipe, Longshot, Rebel Bowman, Firebrand Archer, and Ashling, Flame Dancer grind alongside, Hullbreaker Horror provides an infinite cast-trigger loop, and Ozai, the Phoenix King is a haste-y backup that weaponizes unspent red. Flexible MDFC lands (Hagra Mauling, Sink into Stupor, Waterlogged Teachings) smooth the colors.
