Deck overview

This deck is a Bant Midrange Stompy strategy commanded by Helga, Skittish Seer. The game plan revolves around casting creature spells with mana value 4 or greater, which trigger Helga to draw cards, gain life, and grow with +1/+1 counters. As Helga grows, she taps for large bursts of mana, accelerating the deployment of massive trampling beaters like Aggressive Mammoth and Ghalta the Unstoppable. The deck supplements combat damage with alternative win conditions like Felidar Sovereign and Test of Endurance, leveraging incidental lifegain from Helga and soul sisters. Card draw engines such as Tribute to the World Tree and Teferi's Ageless Insight ensure a steady hand, while Guardian of Faith and modal charms protect key permanents. Although the deck lacks tutors and fast mana, it delivers dependable mid-game velocity and board presence.
