Deck overview

This Naya midrange deck is commanded by Toph, the First Metalbender, turning nontoken artifacts into lands and continuously animating lands into hasty, recurring 0/0 creatures with +1/+1 counters. The strategy blends classic landfall mechanics with Earthbending synergies, building a resilient creature base that naturally recurs when destroyed. Early turns focus on establishing mana acceleration via efficient ramp pieces like Lotus Cobra, Birds of Paradise, and Sol Ring. Once Toph hits the board, the deck transitions into an aggressive beatdown plan, leveraging powerhouses like Bumi, Unleashed, Toph, Greatest Earthbender, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum to grant extra combats, double strike, and explosive stat growth. High-efficiency spot removal like Swords to Plowshares and Beast Within handles problematic opposing permanents, while protective instants like Earthshape safeguard critical boards. The deck excels at grinding through creature sweepers and converting land drops into lethal board presence.
