Commander: Massimo, the Magician

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Massimo, the Magician heads a low-to-the-ground Jeskai "copy-by-combat" machine. The core loop: stock the graveyard with one-mana instants/sorceries, let every creature ETB exile one of them, and turn evasive 1/1s into repeatable Sphinx-Bone-Wand-style engines that cast those copies for free on combat damage. The deck layers a deep pool of MV-1 spells (Ponder, Lightning Bolt, Faithless Looting, Great Train Heist), a swarm of unblockable carriers (Slither Blade, Invisible Stalker, Wraith, Vicious Vigilante), and classic Jeskai token engines-Young Pyromancer, Monastery Mentor, Talrand, Sky Summoner, Kykar, Wind's Fury, The Locust God-that explode every time a copy is cast. Zada, Hedron Grinder is a hidden second commander, turning single-target cantrips into massive card-draw turns, while Storm-Kiln Artist and Jeskai Ascendancy keep mana and pump flowing. The finish is a one-turn multi-combat chain via copied Great Train Heist, lethal through an evasive, double-striking token army.
