Format: Commander

Commander: Tannuk, Steadfast Second

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-red "borrow now, pay later" beatdown deck built almost entirely around Tannuk, Steadfast Second's warp ability. The loop is simple: cast Tannuk on turn three, then warp-cast giant red creatures and artifacts - Etali, Primal Storm, Scourge of the Throne, Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, even Blightsteel Colossus - for just {2}{R}, hasting them immediately and attacking the same turn. Warp exiles the permanent at the next end step, which the deck converts into advantage through an exile-cast package (Nalfeshnee, Wild-Magic Sorcerer, Professional Face-Breaker, Passionate Archaeologist, Wondrous Crucible, Sunbird's Invocation) and into permanence with Sundial of the Infinite. The finishers are extra-combat chains from Scourge of the Throne and Desert Were-Worm multiplied by Twinflame Tyrant, plus one-shot poison kills from Ilharg, the Raze-Boar and Blightsteel Colossus. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through overwhelming, hasted combat inevitability.
