Don Andres, the Renegade leads a Grixis theft deck that wins by borrowing opponents' boards and casting their spells. Don turns every stolen creature into an evasive, deathtouch Pirate and converts noncreature spells you don't own into Treasures. The hidden commander is Edward Kenway: he turns tapped Pirates into Treasures and, with Time Sieve, creates a loop of extra turns. Backup plans include Insurrection, Agent of Treachery, and Emrakul as mass theft, plus Pirate beatdown. Plargg and Nassari, Laughing Jasper Flint, Ragavan, and Thief of Sanity generate card advantage. The strategy is high-variance: it depends on opponents' card quality and assembling a compact combo without premium tutors.
