Deck overview

This deck is a focused Azorius Spirit tribal aggro strategy helmed by Millicent, Restless Revenant. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap, evasive Spirits during the early turns to rapidly reduce Millicent's casting cost via Affinity for Spirits. Once Millicent hits the battlefield on Turn 4, combat connections generate a self-replicating swarm of 1/1 flying Spirit tokens. On Turns 5 and 6, the deck layers tribal lords like Drogskol Captain, Supreme Phantom, and Empyrean Eagle, or mass overrun effects like Moonshaker Cavalry and Mirror Entity, converting token quantity into lethal aerial damage. The deck defends its creature investment through resilient protection pieces such as Guardian of Faith and Selfless Spirit, alongside efficient counterspells and spot removal. While vulnerable to repeated wipe effects and lacking tutors, its sheer redundancy and flight evasion enable it to close games decisively by Turn 7.
