Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan enchantress strategy built around Anikthea, Hand of Erebos. The game plan focuses on deploying low-cost cost-reducers and enchantress draw engines early, stocking the graveyard with self-mill effects, and casting Anikthea to turn high-impact enchantments into 3/3 black Zombie creatures with menace. The deck snowballs quickly through token multipliers like Doubling Season and Ondu Spiritdancer, while token producers such as Archon of Sun's Grace and Within Range generate wide evasive armies that overwhelm opponents across multiple combat steps. The deck controls the board with versatile removal spells and the oppressive artifact and enchantment destruction of Aura Shards. Strong protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Destiny Spinner shield key assets, while mass recursion spells ensure resilient recovery after board wipes.
