Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Cleric tribal Aristocrats midrange list commanded by Orah, Skyclave Hierophant. The game plan revolves around deploying a low-to-the-ground curve of utility Clerics that generate life, protect key permanents, and provide sacrificial fodder. With Orah on the battlefield, sacrificing higher-mana Clerics cascades into returning lower-cost Clerics from the graveyard to the battlefield, creating a self-sustaining recursive engine. The deck converts this loop into a decisive win through drain payoffs such as Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, Bastion of Remembrance, and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, alongside oppressive board control provided by Grave Pact and Demon's Disciple. While lacking instant-speed infinite combo finishes, the deck grinds out opponents over multiple turn cycles with heavy card advantage from Taborax, Hope's Demise, resilient protection from Mother of Runes and Clever Concealment, and late-game reanimation engines like Smile at Death and Victimize.
