Deck overview

This mono-red burn and spellslinger deck leverages Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might to turn minor noncombat damage triggers into devastating four-damage strikes against every opponent simultaneously. The game plan centers on deploying low-cost pingers such as Firebrand Archer, Kessig Flamebreather, and Coruscation Mage on early turns, then casting the commander to scale every instant, sorcery, and entry trigger. Pump spells like Brute Force, Downhill Charge, and Monstrous Rage boost Ojer Axonil's power, immediately amplifying subsequent burn triggers to seven or eight damage per spell. Fast mana and rituals accelerate this setup onto the battlefield by Turn 3 or 4, threatening a table kill within a single turn cycle. Supporting cards like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Virtue of Courage provide backup amplification and massive card advantage, while anti-blue interaction and Deflecting Swat defend the board during the winning turn.
