Deck overview

This Naya midrange deck is piloted by Rocco, Street Chef, leveraging an impulse-draw engine that triggers on playing cards from exile to distribute +1/+1 counters and generate Food tokens. While Rocco provides symmetrical card flow to the table, the deck breaks parity through an abundance of exile payoffs such as Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival, Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald, and Passionate Archaeologist. Mana acceleration from early green land tutors and dorks establishes Rocco quickly, allowing value engines like Academy Manufactor and Baylen, the Haymaker to compound resources rapidly. The win condition pivots on converting wide token swarms and stacked counters into lethal damage through overruns like Overwhelming Stampede or Night of the Sweets' Revenge, backed by burn from Reckless Fireweaver. While highly resilient to spot removal and capable of explosive card draw, the strategy relies on a heavily populated battlefield and is naturally exposed to mass exile sweepers.
