Deck overview

This deck is an Esper control-combo build helmed by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed, leveraging life loss and life gain triggers to generate card advantage and incremental damage. The primary game plan is to control the board with removal, counterspells, and pillowfort effects while assembling the life-total loop of Exquisite Blood plus Sanguine Bond or Enduring Tenacity. Y'shtola's ability to draw a card each end step if a player lost 4+ life, and to deal 2 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a 3+ mana noncreature spell, accelerates the deck toward its combo finish.
