Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is a six-mana Azorius engine that doubles every bonus draw and every token creation. The deck is built to resolve him, then stack token doublers-Anointed Procession, Elspeth, Storm Slayer, and Mondrak, Glory Dominus-to turn cheap token makers into an enormous army. A secondary value path uses Teferi's Ageless Insight and Faerie Mastermind to chain draw triggers from Prince Imrahil, Alandra, and Homunculus Horde, eventually producing evasion and buffs. There is no hidden commander or double-faced commander; the only modal double-faced card is a land (Hengegate Pathway // Mistgate Pathway). The finish is usually combat: Moonshaker Cavalry or Akroma's Will makes the tokens lethal in one swing.
