Deck overview

This deck is a specialized 4-color (WUBR) Polymorph build commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The strategy bypasses casting high-mana creatures by using noncreature token generators like Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Lingering Souls as cheap polymorph fodder. On Turn 4, Jace enters and immediately uses his −3 ability to exile a token and cheat a massive threat into play, including Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, and Darksteel Angel. Library manipulation spells such as Brainstorm and Brainsurge tuck drawn bombs back into the deck to ensure the polymorph pool remains loaded. Backup polymorph enablers such as Proteus Staff, Mass Polymorph, and Synthetic Destiny provide plan redundancy. The deck protects its life total and board with efficient spot removal and sweepers like Sunfall, overwhelming opponents across multiple combat rotations with high-impact flying monsters.
