Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mardu Treasure engine commanded by Vihaan, Goldwaker. It leverages cheap, aggressive Treasure producers to build a critical mass of artifact tokens in the opening turns. Once Vihaan enters the battlefield, every Treasure becomes a 3/3 Construct Assassin with vigilance and haste during combat, turning ramp into an immediate attacking force. The deck supplements combat damage with aristocrat drain effects like Mirkwood Bats and Marionette Apprentice, ensuring that sacrificing or losing Treasures hurts opponents just as much as an unblocked attack. A robust suite of sweepers, targeted removal, and defensive spells like Teferi's Protection and Boros Charm protects the board while disrupting opposing strategies. Even without the commander, the deck easily pivots to pure burn or alternate win conditions like Revel in Riches, making it resilient and lethal across multiple axes.
