Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Outlaw Aggro and Theft deck commanded by Laughing Jasper Flint. The strategy establishes early board presence using low-mana Outlaws—Assassins, Mercenaries, Pirates, Rogues, and Warlocks—to feed Jasper Flint's upkeep exile engine. By stealing opponents' spells and utilizing Treasure generation from cards like Captain Lannery Storm, Luke Cage, Hero for Hire, and Greedy Freebooter, the deck outpaces opponents in card access and board development. The deck transitions into a lethal clock around Turn 6 by stacking burn and aristocrat drain effects from Mirkwood Bats, Rakish Crew, and Bastion of Remembrance, alongside mass outlaw buffs from Hellspur Posse Boss and Dead Before Sunrise. Stolen threats amplify combat pressure while targeted removal like Terminate and Shoot the Sheriff clears blockers. While vulnerable to mass sweepers due to limited stack protection, its dense creature base and alternate theft engines provide reliable recovery and persistent mid-game pressure.
