Tap Dancing in the Ice Palace by AnnoDracula

Format: Commander

Commander: Hylda of the Icy Crown

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Hylda of the Icy Crown leads an Azorius tap-control deck whose primary plan is to repeatedly tap opponents' creatures, then convert each tap into a 4/4 Elemental, a team pump, or card draw. Repeatable tappers such as Gideon's Lawkeeper, Hylda's Crown of Winter, and Sharae of Numbing Depths supply the triggers, while Verity Circle and The Council of Four provide secondary value. Bard, King of Dale doubles the token army, and Intangible Virtue makes it faster. The deck controls the board with counterspells, exile removal, and Supreme Verdict, then wins incrementally through wide token swings or large snow Krakens. There is no double-faced commander; the closest hidden commander is Sharae, a miniature Hylda engine.
