Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius control and token swarm strategy built around The Council of Four. The primary plan uses symmetric draw permanents such as Howling Mine, Kami of the Crescent Moon, and Dictate of Kruphix to force opponents to draw extra cards on their turns. This repeatedly triggers the commander to draw extra cards and generate 2/2 Knight tokens whenever opponents cast multiple spells. The resulting card advantage fuels defensive pillowfort pieces like Propaganda and Ghostly Prison, efficient spot removal, and robust countermagic. The deck converts its card flow into victory via unblockable Knight attacks powered by Herald of Hoofbeats, flying Drake swarms from Alandra, Sky Dreamer, life drain from Psychosis Crawler, or alternate win conditions like Approach of the Second Sun and Leveler paired with Thassa's Oracle.
