Deck overview

Kotis, the Fangkeeper is a BUG voltron/value deck built to make its 2/1 commander hit hard, then use his trigger to chain free spells of mana value equal to the damage dealt. The primary plan is to pump Kotis with equipment, +1/+1 counters, and landfall bonuses, give him trample or unblockable, and turn each hit into a burst of card advantage. Secondary paths use a +1/+1 counter aggro team (Thunderfoot Baloth, Loyal Guardian, Overwhelming Stampede) and a small infinite-mana engine involving Sword of the Paruns and Topiary Lecturer, though it lacks a dedicated payoff. The deck has strong interaction and recursion but leans heavily on Kotis; without him, most Lieutenant and pump effects lose urgency.
