Let's Snake a Deal! by user1143477

Format: Commander

Commander: Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons leads a Golgari -1/-1 counter engine that converts every counter placed on any creature into Snake tokens with deathtouch. The deck spreads wither, -1/-1 effects, and proliferate to shrink opposing boards while amassing a chunky token army. Secondary paths include life-drain payoffs such as Blood Artist, Obelisk Spider, and Mirkwood Bats, plus a small reanimation package. The commander is the primary engine, but the deck can still grind through proliferate and sacrifice synergies if she is removed. The hidden commander is Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, whose activated ability turns spare Snake tokens into cards and more counters.
