Commander: Nahiri, Forged in Fury

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Nahiri, Forged in Fury leads a Boros Equipment deck that curves cheap For Mirrodin Equipment into an early discounted commander, then uses her attack trigger as a free Equipment engine. The primary plan is to make Nahiri a 21+ power commander with Kaldra Compleat or Colossus Hammer and steal extra combat phases via Akki Battle Squad and Hexplate Wallbreaker to eliminate all opponents. Secondary paths are a Rebel-token swarm from For Mirrodin Equipment plus Goldwardens' Gambit, and a pseudo-commander package around Ardenn and Stonehewer Giant that attaches Equipment without paying equip costs. There is no double-faced commander. The deck is combat-focused, with protection in Kaldra, Boros Charm, and Surge of Salvation.
