Minthara by Hylorian

Format: Commander

Commander: Minthara, Merciless Soul

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Minthara, Merciless Soul is an Orzhov aristocrats list: the deck feeds the commander an experience counter every end step by sacrificing a recursive permanent, then turns those counters into a global +1/+0 anthem and a large ward cost. The primary win is a sacrifice/drain engine using Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, Elas il-Kor, Bastion of Remembrance, and Mirkwood Bats; Reassembling Skeleton is the reusable fuel. The cleanest kill combines Ashnod's Altar, Pitiless Plunderer, Reassembling Skeleton, and any drain payoff into a net-positive loop. Teysa Karlov acts as the hidden commander by doubling death triggers. A secondary line uses Minthara-pumped tokens and Jacked Rabbit for combat after enough experience counters accumulate.
