Deck overview

This deck is a Jund Aristocrats and -1/-1 counters combo engine spearheaded by The Reaper, King No More. While the commander provides board attrition by placing -1/-1 counters and stealing opposing casualties, the core strategy centers on compact creature-based sacrifice loops. The primary win condition combines Warren Soultrader, Gravecrawler, and an aristocrat drain outlet like Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat to drain the entire table in a single turn. Dense early acceleration from cards like Ignoble Hierarch, Devoted Druid, and Nature's Lore fuels rapid mana development, while premium black tutors (Demonic Tutor, Diabolic Intent) assemble missing pieces. Backup win conditions include an infinite token and drain loop between Blowfly Infestation, Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, and Obelisk Spider, as well as an infinite power combat angle with Quillspike and Devoted Druid. The deck trades away stack protection for aggressive tutoring velocity and lethal combo compactness.
