Tannuk by Manbeard

Format: Commander

Commander: Tannuk, Steadfast Second

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-red deck is built around Tannuk, Steadfast Second, who grants haste to all other creatures and provides the warp ability to artifact and red creature cards. Warp lets you cast high-cmc threats for a flat {2}{R}, exiling them at end step, then recast them from exile later. The deck leans into a value-combat plan: warp out enormous dragons, dinosaurs, and artifact creatures, attack with haste, chain extra combat steps via Bloodthirster and Scourge of the Throne, and finish with double-damage effects or an infect kill from Blightsteel Colossus. Cascade, exile-cast synergies (Nalfeshnee, Wild-Magic Sorcerer, Warped Space), and ritual mana (Seething Song, Mana Geyser) accelerate the tempo. The commander is a central enabler, but the deck can still function without it through other haste sources and alternative casting methods.
