Vampy Bites v2 by twitch2toriel

Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Mardu Vampire tribal deck is helmed by Edgar Markov, leveraging his eminence ability to generate a free 1/1 Vampire token with every Vampire spell cast, whether he's in the command zone or on the battlefield. The primary game plan is to flood the board with low-cost Vampires, pump them with lords and anthems like Legion Lieutenant, Stromkirk Captain, Coat of Arms, and Shared Animosity, and then close out games through overwhelming combat damage, supported by drain effects from Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Secondary win conditions include Bolas's Citadel for storm-like turns, Akroma's Will for a decisive alpha strike, and heavy recursion via Patriarch's Bidding or Olivia, Crimson Bride to rebuild after wipes. The commander is not essential to the core strategy-the tokens continue even if he's never cast-making this a resilient go-wide aggro deck that can pivot between fast swarm and midrange value.
