Deck overview

This mono-red deck turns Norin the Wary into a continuous burn engine. Because Norin exiles itself whenever a player casts a spell or attacks and returns at the beginning of the next end step, it enters the battlefield up to four times per table rotation. Permanents like Impact Tremors, Agate Instigator, Purphoros, God of the Forge, and Molten Gatekeeper convert these recurring entries into unavoidable, table-wide noncombat damage. Damage amplifiers such as Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and Fiery Emancipation rapidly escalate this chip damage into lethal amounts. Meanwhile, a punishing suite of group slug pieces—including Manabarbs, Ankh of Mishra, Roiling Vortex, and Harsh Mentor—taxes opposing life totals for executing basic game actions. Disruptive tools like Confusion in the Ranks and targeted redirection spells protect the game plan while dismantling opposing boards, allowing the deck to close out games across multiple table rotations without needing combat.
