Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a single-face Rakdos Goblin/Army deck built around The Great Goblin's counter and death triggers. The Great Goblin turns every amass and blight activity into 2-damage pings, and every dead Goblin into an exiled card that can be played. The practical hidden commander is Krenko, Mob Boss, because the deck tutors toward him and he is the explosion that ends the game. The primary win is a Krenko-based drain loop using Skirk Prospector, Sling-Gang Lieutenant, and Thornbite Staff. Secondary paths are goblin swarm combat boosted by Shared Animosity or Chronicle of Victory, and death-drain engines from Boggart Cursecrafter, Boggart Mischief, Grave Venerations, and Ninja Teen. The Great Goblin is the early engine and damage payoff, not the combo finish.
