Deck overview

This deck is a Boros graveyard-tokens midrange strategy commanded by Quintorius, History Chaser. The primary game plan revolves around turning graveyard-leave triggers into a wide board of 3/2 Spirit tokens. By pairing discard outlets, exile-from-graveyard effects like Containment Construct, Phlage, Titan of Fire's Fury, and Excava, the Risen Past, and recursive cards like Squee, Goblin Nabob, the deck creates steady token pressure while filtering cards through Quintorius's +1 ability. The deck transitions into a lethal threat by buffing its Spirit tokens with Quintorius's -4 double strike ability, Moonshaker Cavalry, or Balefire Liege. It supports this plan with an efficient suite of Boros removal spells and recursion pieces like Sevinne's Reclamation. While vulnerable to mass exile effects and dedicated graveyard hate, its redundant token generators and strong card velocity allow it to rebuild quickly and close games through decisive combat steps.
